UNAGH Congratulates President John Mahama on His Inauguration

The United Nations Association Ghana (UNAGH) congratulated President John Dramani Mahama on his inauguration as the 6th President of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.

In a statement signed by its Secretary-General, Belinda Narkey, the association lauded President Mahama’s leadership and expressed optimism about his administration’s ability to tackle key national challenges, including economic development, peace and security, climate sustainability, and the fight against illegal mining (Galamsey).

UNAGH emphasized the importance of maintaining Ghana’s democratic progress and pledged its support for the government’s growth initiatives. “We are confident that under your leadership, Ghana will remain on a trajectory of economic prosperity and sustainable development,” the statement read.

The association also highlighted its readiness to collaborate with the administration, stating, “UNAGH is committed to supporting the programs of this government through all available channels for the benefit of the country.”
